Neo Emotional Release Sessions

Repressed emotions often lie at the heart of chronic pain, addictions, negative patterns, and the traumas that drain our life force. We’ve been taught to suppress, avoid, or “stay positive” but true healing happens when we *meet* our emotions, not bypass them. In a Neo-Emotional Release session, I create a safe space for you to feel what’s been buried, name what’s been unspoken, and move energy that’s been stuck for far too long.

My approach isn’t about fixing you, because you’re not broken. It’s about helping your body remember what it already knows: that release is natural, that emotions are messengers, and that you’re safe to feel.


Neo Emotional Release is a powerful, somatic (body-based) healing modality that works from the bottom up starting with the body, not just the mind. Unlike traditional talk therapy, which often focuses on mental processing and story (a top-down approach), NER invites you into the deeper layers of your emotional and energetic landscape.

Through somatic exploration, soothing/activating touch, breathwork, and emotional expression, we bypass the ego mind and get to the root of stored tension, pain, and unresolved emotion. This gives way to true release and integration.

NER is also unique in that we work directly with body-based symptoms and ailments as gateways to deeper healing. Physical pain, stagnation, or chronic tension are not seen as problems to fix but as invitations from your body to reclaim life force energy. Understanding how your organs, energy systems, and somatic patterns interact is a key part of this work.

What to Expect

In the first 30 minutes we lay a strong foundation by exploring your life personal history, and goals allowing us to build trust, clarify objectives, and create a safe and supportive space for healing. Following this, we move into the practice of Neo Emotional Release.

During the session, I guide you to release deep-rooted emotional stress stored in the body. Together, we use a unique blend of focused touch, expressing breathing, internal family systems (IFS), somatic experiencing, and vocal guidance, facilitating a connection to the wisdom your body holds. As layers of the structured mental ego dissolve, you reconnect with an inner dignity, reclaiming a profound sense of wholeness.

I am both trained and personally passionate about trauma-informed care. This means we work together in a way that honours your nervous system, your story, and your sovereignty. You are always in charge of the pace, depth, and direction of our work.

Because trauma lives in the body, we work gently within your window of tolerance, where the body can process and integrate without being overwhelmed. My role is to stay attuned to your cues (spoken and unspoken) so we remain anchored and connected throughout the session.

Integration is woven into every part of the experience. Emotional release without grounding can leave you disoriented or raw, which is why we take care to close the session with presence and reflection. You're never left to “figure it out on your own.” I stay with you, helping to metabolize what has surfaced so it can land in the body as wisdom, not reactivation.

Healing doesn’t happen by pushing through - it happens when you feel safe enough to soften, feel, and choose. That is the space I commit to holding with you.

In-person sessions
Please wear loose, comfortable clothing that allows you to move freely. Movement and emotional expression are key parts of the process, and feeling physically at ease supports your ability to go deeper into your experience.


Online Sessions
Please ensure you have a quiet and private space where you won’t be disturbed. A comfortable spot to lay down is preferable but I can also do session here you are sitting up. A clear microphone and web cam is also important.

What happens after the session?

It's normal to feel a range of things after the session. Some clients feel lighter, joyous, energized, tender, or even tired. Your system has just moved energy that may have been stuck for a long time. Integration is a vital part of the process. I always check in after our initial session and can offer simple aftercare practices to support you, such as rest, grounding rituals, journaling prompts, or gentle movement. You may also notice shifts in your relationships, body, or emotions in the days that follow.

Will I lose control of myself?

NER is not about forcing or re-traumatizing. You're always in choice. Emotions may rise, but we move at a pace your system can handle. I create a safe, attuned space where your body can lead the way. If big feelings emerge, we stay with them without rushing or overriding. You are not losing control; you are letting your deeper truth surface with support.

What if this opens a can of worms I’m not ready for?

This is a very common fear. Many of us have been holding things in for years or decades. But in NER, we work in layers. Nothing is forced or pulled out before you're ready. Your body knows the pace. My role is to guide and hold space with care, not to push you into anything you can’t handle. Often, what gets released is what’s already been silently impacting your life. Letting it move brings relief, not chaos.

Is this like talk therapy?

Not quite. While there may be space to name your experiences, NER is not story-driven or analytical. We’re not here to “figure things out.” Instead, we follow the body’s cues—using breath, sound, touch, and movement to access the emotions and patterns that live beneath the mind. This allows us to bypass the ego and reach the root.

Can NER help with physical pain or illness?

Yes, often it can. In NER, we recognize the body’s symptoms as messengers. Tension, numbness, or even chronic ailments may be holding emotional or energetic residue. By tuning into these places with presence and somatic tools, we can often shift the stuck energy and bring more life force back into the body. While this is not a substitute for medical care, it’s a powerful complement.

Do I need to re-live my trauma?

No. NER does not require you to re-live painful memories. Emotions may surface, but we don’t go digging or dramatizing. Instead, we stay anchored in the body and in the present moment, allowing what wants to move to do so with compassion and containment.

How many sessions will I need?

It depends on your intention. Some clients come for a few sessions to process a life event or clear stuck energy. Others commit to a longer journey of emotional unwinding and embodiment. We’ll discuss your goals and find what feels right for you. There is no pressure—only invitation.

Are there any clients you don’t work with?

I don’t work with people who are in active psychosis, very intense psychological issues and this work is not a substitute for therapy.
